Can you afford to lose visibility of this cargo’s location? For an hour? For a day? For a week? Of course, we all know the answer already: losing visibility into critical assets can mean losing even more: money, time, productivity, safety, sanity…
Last week, I attended my first conference with the Geoforce team at the Hart Energy DUG Permian show in Fort Worth. While at the show, I heard a lot of great things that were going on in the shale play these days. Some of the big focuses of the show included talk about an unconventional gas-driven approach to Petroleum geology, the Permian report card and information on upcoming projects starting up in the region.
Geoforce had the honor of attending the luncheon on Wednesday where General Colin Powell (ret.), the 65th U.S. Secretary of State, was the keynote speaker. Mr. Powell spoke on a variety of topics ranging from activity in the Permian and the oil economy to leadership best practices he’s used throughout his extensive career in the government. The energy at the conference was electric. With so many projects and activities going on in the Permian, this is an exciting time to be in the oilfield.
