New Geoforce Compliance Release Coming Soon

As our company rapidly expands and we grow to fit even more niches in the oil and gas industry, our application isn’t “one size fits all” anymore. Geoforce is working diligently to further give customers control and responsibility for their offshore oilfield assets.   Our team has been working with major operating companies dealing with compliance in the offshore sector for years, giving our software product team unique insight into exactly what they need. We are talking about leaders in the offshore oil and gas industry and they set the compliance bar very high so we believe our compliance solution will ultimately satisfy the requirements of just about anyone in the offshore industry.

One of our biggest goals is to give our customers more control and insight. Some of the Compliance 3.0 release features and benefits include:   (1) Customers can define certification requirements by asset category   (2) Every action taken by a user that affects compliance status is logged to an audit trail, enabling the user to look back and see who did what and when the effective changes were made   (3) Compliance is mission-critical so in Compliance 3.0, the user can review down to an asset by asset level the impact of a change to compliance policies before that change is made   (4) On the operations side, Compliance 3.0 will provide dashboards to answer to questions like:

• – Does this asset require a specific certification (i.e., lift test, load test, magnetic particle test)?
• – Does it have the required certification?
• – Is the certification expiring soon?
• – How many assets at a given location have up-to-date, past due or nearly expired certification requirements?

We are working with our offshore oil and gas customers to take the earlier versions of this featured application and bring them to new levels. Look for the updates to be available in early August of 2013!
