Marcellus-Utica Show Report – New Frontiers

Last week, I had the chance to attend the Marcellus-Utica Midstream Conference with a few members of the Geoforce team. The conference’s enthusiastic attendance further illustrated the fact that the Marcellus and Utica shales are having a huge impact on the way the United States develops its energy sources. Attendees gathered to hear from industry leaders, such as Michael Schaal, Director of the U.S. Energy Information Administration, who keynoted on the EIA’s outlook for U.S. Hydrocarbon Supply and Demand.

Geoforce was excited to debut our very first iOS app that was released to the Apple store a week before the show. Multiple customers and prospects found the mobility feature of our software application to be not only beneficial, but an absolutely necessity in managing their assets.   Overall, the Marcellus-Utica was a great show and at 65 degrees in January, Pittsburgh couldn’t have been more inviting. I am looking forward to returning to the Steel City November 13-15for DUG East.
