Geoforce grabs a spot on MTBC’s Fast Tech list

On August 13th, our CFO, Vince Hsieh, and I attended the Fast Tech reveal at the Communities Foundation of Texas in Dallas. The event was sponsored by Travis Wolff, LLP, Comerica Bank and the Dallas Business Journal. There we mingled with others from companies hoping to land a spot on the Fast Tech list, which highlights the top 35 fastest growing technology companies in the North Texas area.   As a South Texas girl, I can’t help but admire a good whiskey; it was a special treat to have the CEO of Rebecca Creek Whiskey there telling his entrepreneur-tale of how the only Texas-whiskey was birthed. After the award ceremony, attendees were given the opportunity to taste-test a variety of cocktails created specifically to honor the Fast Tech list members. (Definitely a must-try!)   Geoforce was recognized,for the second year in a row, as a company on the Fast Tech list. We had to wait until the MTBC’s (Metroplex Technology Business Council) Tech Titans Awards Gala – held on August 23^rd – to find out where the company fell in the mix. I am pleased to announce that Geoforce was named number 15 on the Fast Tech list with a revenue growth rate of 167.60% … not too shabby! Along with a number 15 spot, our President and CEO, James MacLean was a finalist for the Tech Titans: Emerging CEO award.   In the past year, Geoforce has acquired Sypes Canyon Communications, opened its first international subsidiary in Macaé, Brazil, brought hardware development in-house, and grown the employee roster by over 30%. It is safe to say that Geoforce has well-positioned itself for substantial growth as a company for years to come and we are eager to continue sharing these exciting moments with our customers and friends.
