Can you afford to lose visibility of this cargo’s location? For an hour? For a day? For a week? Of course, we all know the answer already: losing visibility into critical assets can mean losing even more: money, time, productivity, safety, sanity…
Mike with his brothers Ken and Kevan.
This month we shine the spotlight on Mike Svoboda, our super popular Customer Success Manager in West Texas who is always bumping into old friends.
Sandra: How long have you been with Geoforce?
Mike: A year and a half.
Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?
Mike: I am the customer success manager for the Permian Basin out here in beautiful West Texas. I help train new customers on initial tracking device installation and systems implementation, along with in depth Track and Trace software application training. I also help our existing customers with troubleshoots, installations, continuing education, and filling in any gaps that may have missed over the years to help maintain our high level of service and support.
Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?
Mike: I love to play with my 7-year-old son, play golf, poker, chess, fantasy football, and video games.
Sandra: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Mike: I’d love to see 4 hours into the future so I could finally win a sports bet!
Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?
Mike: I love being part of a culture that empowers and enables everyone on the team to do what needs to be done to overcome the problem at hand. I always feel supported and listened to, which is rare these days.
Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?
Mike: I never meet a stranger in West Texas anymore. With our hundreds of customers, a majority of whom I have met, I never go anywhere without bumping into someone I know.
Sandra: What is something you have always wanted to do but never done?
Mike: I want to visit Scotland and play golf at St. Andrews, Carnoustie, and Muirfield, and visit the Macallan Distillery.
