Employee Spotlight: Holly Rigdon

This month’s employee spotlight is on Holly Rigdon, Geoforce’s Senior Business Analyst based in our Dallas headquarters office!

Q: How long have you been working with Geoforce?

A: I’ve been with Geoforce since January of 2016, which has flown by!!!

Q: What do you do at Geoforce?

A: I am a Senior Business Analyst, which is a hybrid role between Financial Planning and Analysis, Information Systems, and Sales Administration duties. My work focuses on analysis and reporting that helps Geoforce get better every day. And many things directly impact our customers, like working with our quality, development, and customer operations teams to monitor the field performance of tracking devices like our GT1 Global Asset Tracker, and measuring our customer’s experience with our Track and Trace software application and other solutions.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Photography is my favorite art form and I take a ton of photos of sunsets/landscapes and of my three girls.  I make photo gifts, videos, and photo albums capturing all of our memories in case I need help one day to remember.

Q: If you were stranded in an airport what would be your 3 must-haves?

A: A blanket because I am ALWAYS cold, my phone with a charging cord, and strangers to talk to because I will always make a friend.  Hearing someone else’s stories is always a treasure.

Q: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce?

A: The continued focus of ‘Better; not Perfection’.  As a person who thrives when I am creating ideas and strategizing a solution, it’s a wonderful feeling working in an environment where growth is the focus and that I am supported even when my plan A has become plan Q.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

A: The singing voice of an angel because I’ve never been afraid to be on stage or address a crowd, I just lack a talent.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

A: I would go to Fiji-Bora Bora… Seeing the bright blue waters and white sands with my own eyes would be such a surreal moment and touch my soul with its beauty.
