Employee Spotlight: Eric Jenssen

This month’s Employee Spotlight focuses on Eric Jenssen, our Sales Manager for the West Coast who is based in our beautiful Pismo Beach, California office. Eric is the really tall guy on the right in the above picture.

Q: How long have you been with Geoforce?

A: Over six years.

Q: What do you do?

A:  I am the Sales Manager for the West Coast, with a home base in California. My job is to uncover new business while taking good care of the customers we are already working with today. I really love the diversity of customers we have on the West Coast, everything from oil & gas service and rental equipment companies, to agricultural producers and vineyards, construction firms, and logistics providers. I thoroughly enjoy both ends of the relationship and I love what I do.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Having fun in the ocean, finding ways to live the aquatic lifestyle. Surfing, swimming, paddling, and often making art that attempts to capture that same feeling.

Q: If you were stranded in an airport what would be your 3 must-haves?

A:  The Sky Harbor flight information display in front of me says it’s only a 30 minute delay, so I’m good with just this cup of my favorite tomato soup from La Madeleine café near gate B22… and a New Yorker.

Q: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce?

A: We always adhere to our core values and we do the right thing, even when the choice is tough.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

A: The ability to speak every language on Earth, including the less understood ones of animals and insects. Why this super power? Walking through a park or on any city street in the world just got more interesting and insightful.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

A: Using the above ability to talk to animals, and the additional super power I just gave myself (ability to breath underwater) I would travel to the Hawaiian Islands and swim offshore with some Humpbacks at play.
