Cornell getting ready for an awesome family bike ride!
This month we shine the spotlight on our ex-college basketball player, mate drinking, bike ride loving Software Product Manager – Cornell Hardman!
Sandra: How long have you been working with Geoforce?
Cornell: I have been with Geoforce for 1 year and 4 months.
Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?
Cornell: As a Software Product Manager, I get to collaborate with many different team members to deliver new software solutions for Geoforce.
Currently, my focus is on the software that accompanies the GT2 product, the upcoming analytics solution, and vehicle tracking device integrations.
Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?
Cornell: My favorite thing to do is to explore the outdoors. I love to ride my bike and explore parks (local, state, and national) with my family. We have 3 girls, so getting the 5 bikes to each location is quite interesting! The current times have made this an essential activity to keep everyone active and gives us something to do when other options are closed.
Sandra: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Cornell: I would like to be able to scuba dive with no gear. I love snorkeling and viewing sea life but haven’t yet ventured into scuba diving. If I could just go without the gear, I could skip the certifications and explore more of what the ocean has to offer with no restrictions!
Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?
Cornell: My favorite attribute of Geoforce is the Geoforce family. What an amazing environment with awesome people! I really feel like we have a team of people that supports each other for a common purpose.
Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?
Cornell: I have gained new experiences working with both hardware and software to deliver solutions. My previous experiences were specific to only software development, so it has been so fun for me to obtain insight on how the hardware team delivers products while supporting their efforts on the software side.
Sandra: What is something you have always wanted to do but never done?
Cornell: I haven’t gone scuba diving yet. I guess, if I don’t get my superpower I will have to enroll in a local class and do it the hard way!
