This month we shine the spotlight on our Canadian foodie, hiker, and traveler extraordinaire Customer Success Manager – Caitlin Murray!

Sandra: How long have you been working with Geoforce?

Caitlin: Well, this month will be my one-year anniversary with Geoforce, but prior to the acquisition I was with Trakopolis for 5 years.

Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?

Caitlin: I am the Customer Success Manager at Geoforce Canada for all of our customers, and I also manage the Support Team and provide training to all our Trakopolis customers.

Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?

Caitlin: Well, it seems to be the trend with a lot of our employees but camping and hiking are top of my list. I am lucky to live so close to the Rockies. I also enjoy dancing, eating delicious food, and traveling when I can.

Sandra: If you had to choose your last meal on Earth, what would you eat and why?

Caitlin: Oh man, I am a huge foodie so this is a tough one for me. I guess something that involved cheese for sure. Cheese is life. And chocolate. Who doesn’t love cheese and chocolate? Don’t tell me if you don’t, I won’t take it well.

Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?

Caitlin: I think the concept of Grow Together is a big one for me. We come from a small company and are a close team. We are used to having to work together on everything and have a lot of crossover in our jobs. Knowing that Geoforce also stands behind this has made for a great culture fit. I could not do my job without the support of the wonderful colleagues I work with throughout the entire organization.

Sandra: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Caitlin: Another tough question! I think I would go with New Zealand as I have never been and really need to understand why Richie (General Manager, Geoforce Canada) is the way he is. haha!  Italy and Greece are also top of my list to visit again. I’m always dreaming about traveling to places with incredible beaches and amazing food.

Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?

Caitlin: Experience. So much experience! With the concept of teamwork and cross training at the forefront, I have had the opportunity to be exposed to many different aspects of the business and it continues to challenge me as well as keep me interested.

Sandra: Did you make any new year’s resolutions? If so, what?

Caitlin: New year, new me! Just kidding. I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. I believe that it’s best to always be in a state of change and growth and feel that making positive changes to your life is welcome all year round.
