Q: What is your name and position?
A: André Chaboudet, Account Services Representative in Brazil.
Q: How long have you been with Geoforce?
A: For 16 months, but sincerely I thought it was more.
Q: Can you explain your job at Geoforce?
A: I help our Brazilian customers navigate the use of Geoforce solutions and address any functional and technical questions or concerns they might have. These daily interactions allow me to establish a deep relationship with our customers, both new and existing. More specifically, I represent Geoforce out of the office, focusing on ensuring customer satisfaction, generating new business opportunities, and meeting our customers’ growing needs for GPS-based oilfield equipment tracking.
Q: What do your hobbies include?
A: My hobby at the moment is fixing up my 1979 Fusca (Beetle / Volkswagen). I also enjoy spending time with my wife Paula and my son Nicolas (age 7). Normally, during the week we decide what we will do over the weekend. We like going to the movies, playing at the beach, traveling for vacation, and having fun outside of the house. Paula and I think it’s important to spend more time with Nicolas on the weekends because both of us have a full time job and Nicolas remains in school all day during the week. He never complains, but we wish we could have more time with him. Since we don’t have family in Macaé we love having friends over for a barbecue or even just for coffee.
Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
A: I’d love to have the gift of healing people physically and psychologically. Certainly this would give me a lot of work, but having this privilege would allow me to help a lot of people all over the world. Can you imagine that? I would volunteer to travel the world meeting people and helping them find healing.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Geoforce?
A: There are several things that I like and it’s difficult to pick one. But I can say the most important one for me is that when I joined Geoforce, I had the opportunity to be closer to my family. This allowed me to derive even more pleasure and satisfaction from my job. I see a great future for this company and I’m willing to give all I can to help support Geoforce’s growth in Brazil and beyond!
