Last week, Geoforce was proud to exhibit at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX. We were joined by more than 2,600 exhibiting companies and 68,000 attendees from over 120 countries. “As it has since 1969, the world came to OTC to make critical decisions, share ideas and develop business partnerships to meet global energy demands,” said Joe Fowler, OTC 2016 chairman.
Amongst several other Technical Programs offered this year, Geoforce was excited to attend the “Wireless Communications and Radio Frequency Identification Technologies” program where Nick Coaton from Swire Oilfield Services talked on “Auto-ID Tracking System Monitors the Location and Compliance Status of Offshore Assets” and how they utilize Track and Trace technology on their CCU’s all over the world. Other companies with speakers included Halliburton, Weatherford International Ltd., Siemens Subsea and many more.
With the conference being focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Endless Innovation, it was the perfect time for Geoforce to unveil our most rugged and technologically advanced devices to date. Our booth buzzed with energy as we had people marveling at the capabilities of the new GT1 Global Asset Tracker and GT0 Compact Asset Tracker paired with our Track and Trace software.
With Geoforce having the largest network of connected field equipment we always welcome the opportunity to connect with our customers as well as generate new connections!
