Geoforce Releases the World’s Smallest Industrial GPS Tracking Device

– Geoforce, the leading provider of global track and trace solutions for field equipment, announced today the widespread commercial availability of the GT0, the world’s smallest industrial GPS asset tracking device. The new device operates on a global satellite network, and coupled with Geoforce’s web-based software applications, will provide service to new asset classes that could not be addressed with larger, more expensive devices currently found in the market.

“Our customers are constantly pushing for smaller, easier to deploy, and of course – more affordable devices.  With the GT0 we are delivering on all three. This is a truly exciting product that will bring the benefits of our track and trace solutions to new asset classes,” said James S. MacLean III, Geoforce’s President and CEO.

The GT0 has a powerful omni-directional antenna allowing for placement in almost any orientation on an asset. The product is completely sealed which provides extreme durability and the smallest footprint of any device in its class.  It is an IP67 rated device (weatherproof) and has an optional metal bezel for added protection. With an expected five to seven year battery life, the GT0 is the world’s first truly simple-to-deploy “slap and track” device.

“The GT0 represents our best ideas from more than 10 years of developing small, rugged, satellite-based tracking devices,” said Geoforce’s CTO, Gary Naden. “The result is a significant advance in technology and value for our customers.”

Over 350 companies currently use the Geoforce award winning solution to manage over 100,000 assets across six continents.
