Fast Tech honors the fastest growing technology companies in North Texas based on three-year revenue growth and is part of the Metroplex Technology Business Council’s Tech Titans Awards Gala. The company’s final rank was announced at the Tech Titans Gala on August 24th, with the Fast Tech listing being published in a special section of the Dallas Business Journal today. Fast Tech is sponsored by TravisWolff and Comerica Bank.
“The Fast Tech Award is especially rewarding, because it is based on objective criteria: how much our company has grown over the past three years,” said James MacLean III, President & CEO of Geoforce. “We couldn’t have done this without loyal, happy customers – and a great team at Geoforce, of which we are very proud.”
In its 12th year, the Fast Tech Award honors the 35 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Company rank is based on revenue growth from 2009 to 2011. To be considered for the listing, nominations are submitted to the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) or the Dallas Business Journal. Independent research using publicly available information is conducted by TravisWolff and Comerica Bank to compile the rankings.
“At the MTBC, we keep our eyes on what is happening in the tech industry in North Texas,” stated Bill Sproull, president and CEO of the MTBC. “These fast growing companies are doing exciting things, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they benefit our tech community and North Texas as a whole in the coming years.”
