View Our Case StudiesDALLAS, TEXAS, USA – JANUARY 7, 2019 – Geoforce, a global provider of field asset tracking solutions, announced today the release of a successor to the previous generation SmartOne satellite asset tracking device. The new generation AT2 Satellite Asset Tracker is now solar-powered – eliminating the need to replace batteries on an ongoing basis. With life expectancy of up to 10 years, the AT2 is available in three different configurations – location only, location + engine runtime (ERT), or location + ERT + engine startup/shutdown monitoring.
The AT2 device pairs with Geoforce’s Track & Trace and other field operations focused software applications for rental and compliance management to provide asset visibility solutions for field operations intensive industries. Field operators have a growing need for improved insights regarding the operation and whereabouts of their remote, mission critical, and valuable equipment, both non-powered and powered. Operators, service providers, and equipment rental companies are all looking for better ways to proactively monitor for things like preventive maintenance and equipment utilization in a data-driven manner. This stems from customers that demand timely service and a desire to increase the lifespan of an asset in the field for enhanced profitability.
Utilizing the Globalstar satellite constellation for around the world coverage, the AT2 is sold with the Geoforce Track & Trace platform to provide asset visibility and tracking via mobile or web applications.
