This month we shine the spotlight on our knitter, Netflix loving, and camper extraordinaire Canadian Support Team Lead – Christine Brown!
Sandra: How long have you been working with Geoforce?
Christine: I’m coming up to two and a half years in total between Trakopolis and Geoforce.
Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?
Christine: I am the support team lead for Geoforce Canada, I handle anything from a basic install to troubleshooting complex devices and everything in between. My goal is to keep our customers happy.
Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?
Christine: I love camping, fishing, knitting, and shopping! Okay, I also love to binge-watch pretty much anything on Netflix. I’m open to any suggestions on what to watch.
Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?
Christine: This was harder than I thought it would be, I think I have to go with Do Right. I firmly believe in honesty and integrity. Even when it’s hard, it’s okay to admit you’ve made a mistake. After all, we’re all human and we’re not meant to be perfect. It’s part of the learning process and we can own our mistakes and move forward.
Sandra: What is your thing to do or favorite place to travel to during spring break?
Christine: My favorite thing to do during spring break is getting to spend time with my family. Relaxing, unwinding and drinking wine at my in-laws. They live in a teeny tiny town in the middle of nowhere, it’s really quiet and you can see all the stars unlike in the city. It’s my happy place.
Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?
Christine: I’ve gained confidence in my role within the company.
Sandra: What is something you have always wanted to do but never done?
Christine: Travel to Scotland & Ireland.
