After the MC252 Incident in the Gulf, BP called on several third-party vendors and on new technology to help with the response. Working with BP, the Mobile Incident Command Center and other vendors, Geoforce delivered its GPS-based non-powered equipment solution to track over 1,000 skimmers used in clean-up efforts. The skimmer tracking solution was presented at a meeting with Admiral Thad Allen.
