This month we shine the spotlight on our hiker, nature loving, outdoorswoman extraordinaire, and Quality Assurance Engineer – Sowmya Gadiraju!

 

Sandra: How long have you been working with Geoforce?

Sowmya: I have been with Geoforce for almost 2 years.

 

Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?

Sowmya: I am a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Our team catches any defects in our software and helps to release quality software.

 

Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?

Sowmya: I love nature. I love to take walks and hikes with family and watch food-related shows and documentaries.

 

Sandra: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

Sowmya: I would like to travel in time and see myself and the world 30 years from now. Wouldn’t that be cool?

 

Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?

Sowmya: My favorite attribute here is people and the work culture. I got an opportunity to work with some brilliant people who are supportive and helped me improve my skills. I am amazed at how quickly our team adapted to new changes and delivered successful results during the pandemic.

 

Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?

Sowmya: At Geoforce, I got to learn and work with new tools and technologies which will help me perform my job better. Also, this is my first time working with GPS tracking domain and it’s a great experience to gain some knowledge in that domain.

 

Sandra: What is your favorite family tradition during the Thanksgiving holiday?

Sowmya: Meeting family and friends and Thanksgiving meal is my favorite tradition. Helping Kids put up our Christmas tree and decorating it is also my favorite part of Thanksgiving.
