Employee Spotlight - Prashant Bhardwaj - Geoforce

Employee Spotlight – Prashant Bhardwaj

Can you afford to lose visibility of this cargo’s location? For an hour? For a day? For a week? Of course, we all know the answer already: losing visibility into critical assets can mean losing even more: money, time, productivity, safety, sanity…

This month we shine the spotlight on our pilot, outdoorsman, international traveler extraordinaire, and Software Quality Assurance Team Manager – Prashant Bhardwaj!

Sandra: How long have you been working with Geoforce?

Prashant: I joined Geoforce in June 2019, so it’s a little over 2 years

Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?

Prashant: I head the Software Quality Assurance Team. SQA works collaboratively with the development and product teams and helps the process of validating whether a product fulfills a company or industry’s quality requirements or not. It evaluates the functional, performance, usability, and security of the software or app.

Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?

Prashant: I like to fly airplanes, do a lot of outdoor activities, and travel internationally.

Sandra: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

Prashant: I would like to give the power to every human to respect each other and love this beautiful planet Earth. I feel it will bring peace and harmony amongst all creatures on this planet. We will achieve wonders when our efforts are all concentrated as one team to explore new horizons.

Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?

Prashant: I love the sense of togetherness at Geoforce. It makes me feel connected and feel proud for all the work we do to keep our customers performing better every day.

Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?

Prashant: I have gained the opportunity to bring continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) to Geoforce. It has already been implemented on the QA side, but slowly we will make it happen across our software development projects, which shall enable us to provide our customers products and resolutions much faster on the likes of Google and Facebook.

Sandra: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer and why?

Prashant: My favorite summer thing is usually to travel to colder places, but this summer it was to go fly (small planes) or get in the lake since it’s the best way to enjoy the outdoors while still practicing social distancing.
