Vincent Hsieh

Chief Financial Officer

Vince’s background includes finance, operations, management consulting and board advisory roles in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. At Geoforce, he is responsible for finance functions like strategic planning, corporate development, capital raising, accounting and investor relations, and corporate functions like human resources, legal, and marketing. Prior to Geoforce, Vince was the Co-Founder, CFO, and VP Business Development at Atlas RFID Solutions, a venture-backed RFID systems integration and software development firm, where from 2006 to 2010 he ran or heavily supported virtually all aspects of the company’s start-up and growth phases.

Vince spent the middle part of his career as a CIRA-certified management consultant in the turnaround and corporate restructuring practices at Arthur Andersen and Alvarez & Marsal. In that capacity, he held finance, M&A, treasury, strategic planning, and logistics management roles at distressed companies ranging from energy providers and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms to international logistics conglomerates, national restaurant chains and multi-billion dollar bricks-and-mortar and online retail operations.

Vince started his career in Arthur Andersen’s intellectual asset management practice, where he valued and commercially assessed the intellectual property and patent portfolios of Fortune 100 high-tech, aerospace and automotive companies.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Geoforce and Atlas RFID Solutions, and is a frequent guest speaker on topics of entrepreneurship and growth company operations for organizations like ASCEND, TARA North Texas, CORE 24, UT Dallas, and Duke University.

Vince is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and was a CFA Charterholder from 2003 to 2020. He earned a BA in Economics, with Honors, from UC Berkeley, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, riding his Peloton, kickboxing, downhill skiing, and vacations with his family. As a native Los Angeleno, he is also a diehard Laker and Dodger fan.
