PLANO, TEXAS — May 14, 2026 — Geoforce, the pioneer of Equipment IoT and the global leader in ultra-rugged tracking for non-powered industrial assets, today announced the appointment of Matthew Hofmeyr as Director of Global Partnerships. The move marks another step in Geoforce’s accelerating investment in enabling industrial operations’ efforts to maximize asset value through connecting more and more of their equipment.
In this role, Matthew will lead the strategic expansion of Geoforce’s global partner ecosystem, by scaling Geoforce’s reseller network. His appointment reinforces a partner-first growth strategy aimed at amplifying Geoforce’s continued expansion across industries operating in remote, hazardous, and infrastructure-limited environments.
Matthew brings more than 10 years of experience in Industrial IoT, GPS tracking, and channel development, with a proven track record of building high-growth partner networks and scaling international operations. Prior to joining Geoforce, he helped establish and expand the North American presence of a leading global IoT hardware manufacturer, where he played a key role in developing partner and reseller ecosystems across the Americas.
Throughout his career, Matthew has led channel growth initiatives spanning enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, technical enablement, distribution, and go-to-market execution. His experience building partner-first revenue models and aligning technology ecosystems positions him to help accelerate Geoforce’s next phase of growth.
“Geoforce is a rocket ship – we’re growing fast, investing aggressively, and partners are central to how we scale the Equipment IoT category,” said Jeff Westover, Chief Marketing Officer at Geoforce. “We lead the ultra-rugged, non-powered asset tracking market because our solutions are over-engineered to deliver in any environment, and Matthew’s track record building partner networks that scale is exactly the leadership we need to put that technology into more customers’ hands around the world.”
Matthew has already been instrumental in shaping the company’s evolving global partner strategy, including work on the company’s next formal partner program to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
“Geoforce owns a category most of the industry hasn’t even named yet – Equipment IoT, purpose-built and ultra-rugged for the non-powered assets nobody else can reliably track,” said Matthew. “For a reseller or platform provider, that’s a rare thing: differentiated technology, real customer demand, and a partner team that’s investing to help them win. My job is to make it easy for partners to add Geoforce to what they already sell and help their customers IoT their equipment to maximize asset value.”
Originally from South Africa, Matthew relocated to the United States with his family in 2017 and has spent the last decade focused on helping technology companies scale through partnerships and channel growth. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, bikes, boats and restoring vintage trucks, showcasing far more passion than actual mechanical skill. #CertifiedYouTubeMechanic
As Geoforce continues its rapid growth and invests in scaling Equipment IoT worldwide, Matthew will focus on enabling resellers to deliver ultra-rugged asset visibility across oil & gas, construction, mining, rail, defense, and other harsh industrial markets.
