Can you afford to lose visibility of this cargo’s location? For an hour? For a day? For a week? Of course, we all know the answer already: losing visibility into critical assets can mean losing even more: money, time, productivity, safety, sanity…
I spent the first half of my week in Tulsa at the DUG Midcontinent show. I must say, as a native Okie, it’s always great to be back. The focus of the show gravitated around the activity coming from the various plays including: the Mississippi Lime, Woodford, Granite Wash, Marmaton, Tonkawa and Hogshooter.
With the help of many unconventional technologies, most of which were showcased this week, the Mississippi Lime is a conventional reservoir that has been made far more economical in the past year. Many of the breakout sessions reviewed business opportunities, examined the pipelines, treatment and storage infrastructure centered on north-Oklahoma and Kansas. Geoforce is continually impressed with the activity in each of the shale plays. The purpose-driven use of technology in the oil and gas industry has sky-rocketed the industry to a level where anything is possible, and it’s exciting to be a part of a company where the solutions play such a critical role in the oilfields.
