Matthew began his career by serving five years in the United States Navy. After finishing his enlistment, he started his education in manufacturing, completing programs in Quality Assurance, Lean Six Sigma, and Project Management. He spent the next ten-plus years working in Quality Assurance. Currently, Matthew is responsible for the development and management of all Quality Assurance programs at Geoforce.
Previously, Matthew managed the Quality program at VICIS, a high-tech Seattle start-up producing high-end football helmets. He managed the manufacturing process at over 15 international suppliers and three production facilities. Qualifying two contract manufacturers successfully increasing production capabilities by 200% annually.
Prior to Geoforce, Matthew moved to Bozeman, MT, in 2018 to begin his career in the textile industry, joining Mystery Ranch, managing a robust global supply chain consisting of contract manufacturers in Vietnam, The Philippines, Indonesia, and five domestically. Matthew was responsible for the onboarding of Centric 8 software’s quality module resulting in a nonconformance rate of less than 1%
When Matthew is not in the office, you will find him in one of three places, boarding a flight, in the outdoors with his two young boys exploring the beauty of Montana, or on one of the Bridger Bowl ski lifts.
