Kerry Atherton

Director, Customer Success

Kerry joined Geoforce in 2019 as part of the acquisition of Cartasite. With almost 15 years of experience in customer facing roles at technology companies, he leads Geoforce’s talented Customer Success team that guides users in getting the most out of their investment in world-class asset tracking and driver safety solutions.

Previously, Kerry was the Director of Customer Success for Cartasite, where he helped the company develop a reputation for high-quality program management and customer support over its 10+ year history.

Earlier, Kerry worked on the enterprise sales and partnership team at coding school Galvanize, helping Fortune 500 companies hire data science talent and upskill their developer teams using Agile programming methodologies. He also spent six years with Pearson, the world’s largest education company, on the strategic customer operations team as a consultant and engagement manager overseeing large customer engagements in the SaaS-based education technology space. He played a big part in helping large universities expand their technological capabilities to become more effective in a digital classroom.

Kerry is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Integrated Strategic Communication with a focus in Account Management. He later earned a Master of Science at the University of Kentucky in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, while emphasizing Sports Leadership course work as a graduate assistant and managing their outdoor recreation program. He currently serves as president of the Kentucky Alumni Club of Colorado and continues his passion for health and wellness while living in Denver. Avid in adventure and all things the Rocky Mountains offer, he’s a weekend warrior you can often find backcountry skiing, fly fishing, or trail running.
