Brandon Taylor

Chief Hardware Architect

Brandon’s career includes a wealth of engineering, technical development, mechanical design, manufacturing and fabrication experience in the automation, wireless network, and auto racing industries.

At Geoforce, Brandon has responsibility for bringing hardware development efforts to reality through hardware team management, overall hardware design path leadership, certification and regulatory efforts, hardware vendor and supplier relationships, hardware quality assurance, and mechanical design and packaging.

Prior to Geoforce, Brandon served in several engineering, manufacturing and technical leadership roles at Fabworks Machine and Design and Team Spencer Motorsports from 2001 to 2007 in sunny and beautiful Buford, Georgia. At Fabworks, he led efforts in mechanical system design, system automation, industrial controls and control systems, design for machining and manufacturing, trackside engineering and data acquisition and telemetry. Brandon also added thousands of hours of experience to his repertoire in manual and CNC machining, CAD/CAM design in Mastercam and Solidworks, TIG and MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication and metal working and composites layup and fabrication.

Brandon is a dedicated family man and stretches his legs as an instrument rated private pilot. He is currently building a Van’s Aircraft RV-7 in his infinitesimal amount of spare time.

Brandon earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Go Yellow Jackets!
