2016 Fast Tech award represents company’s 5th consecutive year on list
DALLAS, TEXAS – August 24, 2016 – Geoforce (www.geoforce.com), a world leader in providing global traceability solutions for field equipment, has been ranked #16 on the Tech Titans annual Fast Tech list. This marks the fifth consecutive year Geoforce has earned the prestigious recognition, the second longest tenure of any company on the list.
The Fast Tech Award ranks the top 25 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life science, and clean technology companies in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Rankings are based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2013 to 2015.
“Since inception in 2007, Geoforce has contributed to the Internet of Things (IoT) revolution by enabling field operators and service providers to connect mission critical field equipment to the web,” said Vincent Hsieh, COO/CFO of Geoforce. “Making the Fast Tech list reflects the tremendous growth of our network of connected field equipment, and is a testament to the valuable operational intelligence we provide to minimize the chaos of field operations.”
The Fast Tech list is compiled from nomination forms and independent research using publicly available information conducted by Crowe Horwath and Comerica Bank. Geoforce previously ranked #13 in 2015, #16 in 2014, #15 in 2013, and #6 in 2012.
“The Tech Titans Fast Tech awards is the premier recognition of innovative technology companies and individuals who contribute to the vibrancy and success of the North Texas region,” said Bill Sproull, President and CEO of Tech Titans. “These pioneers are impacting tomorrow’s technology today with their innovation, leadership and advocacy. Combining a cloud-based software platform with rugged GPS devices and global satellite and cellular networks, Geoforce’s Track and Trace solutions bring control to often chaotic field operations. The company operates the world’s largest network of connected field equipment within the oil & gas industry, and its asset tracking solutions are used in many other industries, including agriculture, construction, and transportation.
