In an Oilfield Far, Far Away

In honor of the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we wrote a poem to remind everyone that fear (of change) is the path to the dark side. May the (Geo)force be with you.

A long time ago in an oilfield far, far away…

There was a pump jack in disarray.

The machine sat in silent dust,

For it had been off for three days.

Where was the pumper whose

Job was to keep the oil flowing?

Had he driven by the well

And just kept on going?

And then came a magical invention.

A company that was well worth a mention.

Geoforce was the name

And asset tracking was it’s game.

With these powerful devices

There would be no more surprises.

Every pump jack would be kept in the best condition

Because for the pumpers there had been a great transition.

They were now a dot on a map

And could no longer get away with taking a nap.

Now the oil can flow freely

And there is no disbelieving

That Geoforce is next to none

Because the force is strong with this one.
