Geoforce Wins 2012 Oil and Gas Award

We are honored to be selected by Boston Strategies International (BSI) as one of three winners of its 2012 Oil and Gas Award for Supply Chain Management Excellence. Geoforce was selected from a list of 200 candidates who have delivered operations and supply chain management improvements. Candidates included National Oil Companies, International Oil Companies, Equipment Providers, and Service Providers.

Geoforce won the award based on our ability to reduce third party equipment costs and nonproductive downtime through the use of our equipment t racking service. Our electronic tracking of equipment using rugged GPS devices and web-based software, eliminates time spent looking for assets such as frac tanks and roll-off boxes, as well as the need to hold safety stock of these items. One of our customers in the refining industry estimates that using our service allows reduction of third party equipment costs by greater than 20%, as well as cutting downtime.

The 2012 Oil & Gas Award will be conferred at the 6th Annual Global Procurement and Supply Chain Management for the Oil and Gas Industry, on September 24-26, in Boston, MA.
