Employee Spotlight – Justin Walters

This month we shine the spotlight on our LSU football loving and outdoorsman extraordinaire – Justin Walters!

Sandra: How long have you been with Geoforce?

Justin: Just over 3 years!

Sandra: What do you do at Geoforce?

Justin: I am the Regional Account Manager for our hundreds of customers in the Gulf of Mexico and South Louisiana.

Sandra: What are your hobbies outside of work?

Justin: LSU Football, Geaux Tigers! My wife, kids, and I take it pretty seriously, possibly at an unhealthy level – along with everyone else in our state.

Aside from spending time with my family, fishing in the Louisiana marsh is probably my favorite thing to do. This is my time to recharge and reset.

Sandra: If you had to choose your last meal on Earth, what would you eat and why?

Justin: Meat that I hunted, fish that I caught, and food that we’ve grown on our property. Mainly because sometimes it’s satisfying preparing a meal without making a trip to the grocery store, and it teaches my kids to depend on yourself first, everyone else second.

Sandra: What is your favorite attribute of Geoforce and why?

Justin: Geoforce is loyal to its customers. This goes a long way in a region like mine, where business relationships are a lot like family relationships.

Sandra: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Justin: I’d like to see Jerusalem, the Himalayas, and the building where they filmed the TV show “The Office”.

Sandra: What have you gained from working at Geoforce?

Justin: Satisfaction. I feel that what I do is part of something big. I especially feel this when I see a GT1 Global Asset Tracker or GT0 Compact Asset Tracker on a piece of field equipment during vacation or the weekend in a place I never expected.

Sandra: What is your favorite part about the holiday season?

Justin: In Louisiana, we pretend it’s cold and wear long pants. It’s just the best.
