At Geoforce, we are making the oil patch less chaotic by building the world’s largest network of connected oilfield equipment. We do this by relentlessly focusing on delivering high quality products and services to our over 400 customers worldwide. Given the importance of quality to our customers’ experience, we are proud to announce that as of last week, Geoforce has a Quality Management System in place that is officially ISO:9001 2008 certified!
According to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) website, ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:
- Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; and
- Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
ISO:9001 2008 certification serves as a tremendous complement to the unique IECEx, ATEX and Anatel certifications on our revolutionary GT1 global asset tracker. But, just as importantly, this globally recognized “seal of approval” means we do what we say we will do, and that we have systems in place to ensure high quality from a product, services and operational standpoint.
Our Quality Management System represents a company-wide mindset of “quality first” across ALL departments. From the top down, our entire company owns and embraces quality. So as a customer or partner of Geoforce, you can count on receiving only the best products and services from us.
As great as it is to earn our initial ISO:9001 2008 certification, the hard work starts now for us. We will have to live up to the certification every day, and continuously monitor and improve ourselves and our company so that we can get re-certified every year going forward.
Everyone at Geoforce is working hard every day to build a GREAT company; our ISO certification is just another positive step in that direction!
