INFRASTRUCTURE

It's a game changer.

The foundation of Geoforce's software is the following infrastructure components, all of which meet or exceed industry standards.

Managed Hosting Services

No need to add servers to your data center. Geoforce will host it all, so you don't have to worry. Geoforce does all the worrying for you.

Multi-Tier Architecture

Geoforce uses multiple servers, with each server dedicated to a particular task. This gives an architecture that scales well and limits the impact of any system outage. Specifically, it uses a dedicated server for device communications, application execution, database queries and background tasks.

No External Software Requirements

We don't require you to run any specific operating system or web browser. Furthermore, we don't require the bloated and often difficult to manage overhead of a Java or Flash application. While the application is certainly complex, we keep the complexity behind the scenes and on our servers.

Redhat Enterprise Linux Servers

Geoforce servers run on Redhat Enterprise Linux, one of the world's most trusted names in providing stable and secure web hosting platforms.

Redundant Systems

Geoforce makes liberal use of redundant systems. By hosting through a leader in SAS-70 compliance, we have redundant power, redundant air conditioning, and redundant Internet feeds. Furthermore, Geoforce uses RAID disks, and always has hot-standby servers on-call in the event that our primary production servers experience issues. Finally, Geoforce takes multiple measures toward the backup of your data, including the use of onsite and offsite backups.
